In 1993 the car was purchased in Zurich by Jurek Zaba.
After a couple of years he decided to commission renowned Citroën specialists Häfliger & Kunz AG in Dänikon to undertake an extensive restoration spanning the years 2001 to 2004.
Among others the following panels were replaced: rear panel, inner and outer rear mudguards, boot floor, boot lid, front and rear floor panels, longitudinal sills, outer sills, and 'B' and 'C' pillars at the bottom.
A complete stone chip protection was applied and all cavities given a protective coating.
The car was repainted in the original colour except the roof, which is now grey instead of black.
