Built on a slightly shorter wheelbase than the standard Sprint, and again the work of Bertone, the gorgeously curvaceous 'SS' came with 100bhp on tap, a five-speed gearbox, and a top speed of 200km/h (125mph).

Previously registered in the province of Treviso, Italy, this beautiful Sprint Speciale was registered in the province of Venice from late July 1966.

An old-style Italian libretto lists two owners from 1966 to 1969.

The Alfa had already been registered in the Netherlands from 1978 when registered to the vendor in 1991.
