"New 720S is a milestone for McLaren: ballistically quick, stable and approachable," declared Top Gear magazine.

Beneath the sleek, aerodynamically efficient bodywork there was a new carbon-fibre chassis (enabling the use of dihedral doors) riding on active suspension developed from that of the preceding 650S.
