During the three years of the COVID lock-down the current owner undertook a refurbishment with fastidious attention to detail: body off, replacement ash framing, chassis 'last nut and bolt' strip, bare-metal respray, interior re-trim, new chrome, and all new wiring and leather work.

Overhauled by the world-renowned J C Engineering, the engine has been significantly enhanced and upgraded to include new white-metal bearings, camshaft and followers, and valves and guides to effect totally silent running.

The gearbox, torque tube and rear axle have, where necessary, had new bearings throughout.
