The Series 50 gave 77hp from 220 cubic inches; the 60 with 272ci gave 90 horsepower, and the 80 and long-wheelbase 90, both with 344ci, developed 104hp.

The Series 50 was built on a 114-inch wheelbase, the same as the discontinued Marquette.

Despite being a lower-mid-priced automobile, the Buick series 50 gave owners a fully synchronized transmission, quite unusual for less-expensive cars.
