Initially European, Ferrari extended this Challenge to North America in 1994 and to the Far East with the Ferrari Challenge Asia-Pacific in 2011 with the introduction of the new 458.

With the removal of any extra weight, the 458 Challenge was 350 Kilos lighter than the standard car and this - allied to a prodigious 570 horsepower from its 4.5-litre engine - offered startling performance.

The motorcar offered today, an "Evo 2" upgraded model, has never been raced in competition.
