AI Listing Summary
This 1938 Alvis 4.3-Litre is a rare, short-chassis drophead coupé with unique coachwork by Whittingham & Mitchel. It has a well-researched history, maintained by Red Triangle since a 2000 purchase, featuring an overdrive and other upgrades, though it was damaged in a car barn collapse in the 90s.

Condition
6
While the car has been restored and maintained by marque specialists, it experienced a car barn collapse in the USA that necessitated extensive repairs. The listing also notes some previous issues like brake problems and a tendency to catch fire. These factors suggest that while in good condition, it isn't pristine or near-perfect.
