The car underwent a body-off, concours-quality restoration completed in June 2014 by Jim Friswold. It won third in class at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Élegance in August 2014. The chassis and mechanicals were completely restored, the body was repainted in a deep burgundy color, the chrome was redone, and the instruments were restored. A new and period-correct leather interior was commissioned, the interior wood and dash were redone, and new inner and outer cloth was made for the luxurious padded top.
