Condition

While the car has undergone a comprehensive restoration, including a rebuilt engine, new chassis, and upgraded components, it's important to consider that some parts, like the body, retain their originality. The description mentions moderate use since the rebuild. Therefore, considering the mix of restored and original elements, along with its history of concours wins and auto-cross events, it falls into excellent condition.

Of the 646 Morgan 4/4 Series V models built, it is estimated that fewer than 300 survive.

Of those, left-hand drive chassis number 'B1063' is without question one of the best examples on the road today.

The car has had only a handful of owners, and prior to its acquisition by the current vendor in 2012 belonged to the president of the Morgan Car Club of Washington DC for some 20-plus years.

Sold new in Arlington, Virginia the car has spent its entire life in the southern states and, as a result, suffers from none of the structural problems that can plague older Morgans.

'B1063' was purchased by the preceding owner in 1991, having been off the road for 13 years, and driven regularly until 1997/1998 when it was taken off the road for a 'frame off' restoration.

In 2011 the Morgan was treated to another comprehensive professional rebuild, necessitated on this occasion by a cracked chassis frame.

Since completion the car has seen only moderate use and is said to be in better condition...
