Condition

6

The car is described as being in original specification in all major respects and appears generally sound, although now requiring cosmetic restoration. Work has been completed during the present ownership, including rebuilding the rear axle, re-lining the clutch, and restoration of the original Loomis carburettor. The car has been repainted and the vendor suggests refinishing it to the original livery. While not recently started, the engine ran well during preparation for the sale, and the vendor reports that the car drives backwards and forwards under its own power. This suggests a condition rating of 'Good' (6) because it has moderate wear and requires some reconditioning.

Early models were marketed at just $650.

This car was acquired by the present owner in the 1980s from Soames Langton who is thought to have imported the car from the USA Corresponden...
