AI Listing Summary
This is a rare 1964 Jaguar E-Type 'Semi-Lightweight' roadster, one of only two ever built by the factory. Originally owned by Sir Robert Ropner, it features a 'Lightweight'-style hardtop, a specially-tuned engine, and a 5-speed ZF gearbox. The car has been restored and retains many original parts, offering a unique opportunity for collectors.

Condition
7
While the car has been restored and preserved, the description mentions it was in 'pretty ropey condition' upon acquisition by the current vendor and required sympathetic restoration. The color is not original, and a key engine component (cylinder head) was once lost and replaced. Although it has been well-maintained since restoration, it is not in perfect or near-perfect condition.
