AI Listing Summary

This is a unique 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ Prototipo Berlinetta, chassis number AR10511 0003, a one-off development prototype from the Chizzola family, with coachwork by Autodelta. It remained with the Chizzola family until being purchased by the current vendor at Bonhams' Nürburgring Sale in 2000 and has been driven sparingly since, making it a rare and highly sought-after piece of Autodelta and TZ history.

Condition

The car is described as being in generally very good condition and running well, having been overhauled by Cars International. It has been driven only once since its acquisition by the current vendor. Cosmetically, the car has a unique glassfibre 'gull-wing' coachwork and features Plexiglas side and rear windows. The interior has a wide transmission tunnel, a wood-rim steering wheel, and TZ/Giulia gearlever knob, switches, etc. The engine is set low and well back in the chassis while the wheels are positioned at the extreme corners, thus achieving minimal body overhangs.
