The car has been totally restored, featuring a modified engine with increased power, hydraulic brake conversion, and a re-trimmed interior with high-quality materials. It also benefits from recent maintenance and a bare metal re-spray. However, the temperamental fuel level indicator and the availability of the original gearbox suggest some minor issues or areas for potential improvement.

A Volvo gearbox is fitted using a modified Hirth bell-housing and the BMW clutch mechanism.
