Cette reconstitution de Ferrari 250 TR 1959 fait partie d'une série de 5 voitures commandées par Alistair Walker et construites par Jim Rose.
Elle a été réalisée spécialement pour le célèbre pilote Ferrari et Lotus Innes Ireland.
La voiture est superbe dans les moindres détails avec ses sièges garnis de tissu écossais.
Elle apparaît dans le livre d'Innes Ireland, 'All Arms and Elbows' (2ème édition) avec des photos de lui lors de son mariage avec Jean Howeth.
La 250 TR est construite sur la base d'une 330GT châssis numéro '5333' et est motorisée par un V12 de 3957 cc, équipé de 6 carburateurs Weber double corps et accouplés à une boîte de vitesses manuelle à quatre rapports avec overdrive.
Sa carrosserie a été fabriquée par Les Monk et son fils.
Jim Rose et Les Monk avaient déjà re-carrossé trois Ferrari 330GT avant de réaliser celle-ci en 1992.
La carrosserie d'origine a été supprimée et remplacée par une structure tubulaire en acier pour soutenir la nouvelle carrosserie tandis...
