The last full year of Model A production was 1931, which marked the production of the 20-millionth Ford: a Model A Fordor sedan produced on 14 April.

Model A continued in production until 30 April 1932, when it was replaced by the four-cylinder ‘Model B’ that shared the graceful body of the all-new V8, by which time 5,000,000 had been made.

Model A styling was revised again for its final year, a new radiator shell, revamped running boards and lower roof line on selected models being the major changes.

The cabriolet was given a makeover while the convertible sedan was an addition to the range and featured fixed side window frames.

Twenty-one body styles were offered for 1931, that of the car offered here - Deluxe Roadster - being one of the more popular with almost 57,000 sold that year.

With new models waiting in the wings, there were no significant mechanical developments.
