This 1970 Plymouth Superbird is powered by a matching-numbers 440ci Super Commando V8 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and is largely unrestored.

Features Rallye 15-inch wheels, power steering, power disc brakes and a Hurst pistol-grip shifter.

One of 1,920 examples built for NASCAR homologation.

This model is based on the Road Runner platform and is equipped with a nose cone.

Originally purchased in June 1971 by Mary J.P.

Moore, mother of racing driver and journalist Sam Posey, the car remained in the Posey family until 2010.

A comprehensive restoration was completed around 2011, including nose cone refinishing.

Finished in Vitamin C Orange with a black vinyl roof and black interior, the car is accompanied by a detailed documentation package that includes ownership history, restoration photos, Wise Elite-Level Validation Report records and Broadcast Sheets.

It has been featured in Hemmings Muscle Machines (2005), Hagerty Classic Cars (2014) and Mopar Action (2019)...
