This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E roadster was factory-built as a high-performance V8 sport sedan developed through a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, with final assembly completed at Porsche's Zuffenhausen facility.

Power is provided by a factory 5.0-liter naturally aspirated DOHC 32-valve V8 engine paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission, with drivetrain integration handled by Porsche.

The chassis features Porsche-developed suspension tuning, independent suspension, hydropneumatic rear axle self-leveling and four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes with ABS engineered specifically for the 500E platform.
