This 2017 Ford Shelby Super Snake widebody prototype is powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine producing 750hp, featuring a Shelby-Whipple supercharger and Borla cat-back dual exhaust system, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

This vehicle was hand-built by Shelby American in Las Vegas, NV, utilizing a 2015 Mustang chassis as a development platform to evaluate the performance potential of the sixth-generation Mustang architecture.

Particular emphasis was placed on the integration and optimization of the model’s independent rear suspension, marking the first time such a system was employed on a production Mustang-based Shelby vehicle.

The chassis is equipped with a fully adjustable Shelby track suspension system by Cortex, Shelby American/Rogue Engineering tubular rear control arms, hardened wheel studs, and upgraded spindles and hubs engineered to support increased track width and performance demands.
