41WJ, was originally completed as a limousine, per the Rolls-Royce build records included with the car.

It retains comprehensive documentation, factory records, restoration receipts and correspondence outlining its complete history from new.

Sold new to Parisian owner Jean Groult, the car was later owned by an English sportsman in the 1940s, who commissioned Harold Radford Coach Builders Limited to restyle the car with period Shooting Brake coachwork.

The vehicle subsequently passed into the ownership of Iranian industrialist M.

R.

Rafatjah, who also had ties to the Royal Garage, and was later shipped to Great Britain during the Iranian revolution, remaining there during and after its restoration as Rafatjah relocated to California.

The restoration began under C&L Restorations of Cheshire, England, and was completed by David Scott-Moncrieff and Son, Limited of Leek, England, as a nut-and-bolt restora...
