The engine is the original high-output Cutlass 330ci V8, optional in 1966, with headers and 2.5-inch custom exhaust, mated to a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission.

The suspension is completely upgraded using a Classic Performance Products Pro Touring kit with tubular A-arms, trailing arms, HD sway bars front and back, and dual differential Panhard bar attachments.

Stopping is handled with upgraded disc brakes at all four corners.
