This custom 1982 Porsche 911 SC started life as a standard 1982 911 SC Targa, but has been comprehensively modified utilizing all factory parts and turned into a Cabriolet with a full M491 package.
M491 was the Porsche factory designation for a turbo-look car - indistinguishable from a 930 outside of the badge on the back - and wasn't officially available from Porsche until 1985.
Wanting to create their own rendition, a previous owner utilized original 930 Turbo front and rear fenders and rear spoiler, giving this car all the looks of a 930, but with a powerful, naturally aspirated engine.
Originally powered by a 3.0-liter flat-6 engine, this car was upgraded to a 3.2-liter case engine, which has been bored out to 3.5 liters with 100mm Mahle pistons.
This new engine is mated to a 5-speed 915 series gearbox, which has been fitted with a ZF limited-slip differential.
