This 1947 custom Woody was modified in 2014-15 by Roush with a modern-style Ford 302ci V8 engine, Ford AOD automatic transmission and the addition of power steering.

This update also included the Billet Specialties Tru Trac engine FEAD system that packages the new engine in the older engine bay.

The Ford AOD automatic transmission replaced the 3-speed manual transmission that the car was originally built with.

This, along with the power steering, modified the vehicle's drive characteristics.

The rear axle was replaced with a Currie-supplied Ford 9-inch rear axle assembly with a 3.75:1 gear ratio.

Other items added included a fabricated, quiet-tone 2-1/4-inch exhaust system with ceramic-coated pipes and mufflers.

The electrical system was changed from 6 volts to 12 volts.

This included a new Optima battery, revised instruments and a 12-volt engine cooling fan.
