The Ferrari 488 Pista is the hardcore track-oriented version of the 488 GTB.

Power comes from thoroughly reworked version of the 488's 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.

Designated the F154 CD, the V8 features new camshafts, a larger intercooler, strengthened pistons, titanium connecting rods and Inconel exhaust manifolds borrowed from the 488 Challenge race car.

Total output is an astonishing 711hp at 8,000 rpm with 537 ft/lbs of torque.

The Pista (literally meaning "track" in Italian) can rocket to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds, and go from 0-120 mph in 7.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 211 mph.

The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission capable of shifting in 30 milliseconds when in race mode.

The car's bodywork was shaped by the wind and generates 20 percent more downforce than the standard 488 GTB.

The door handles help channel air into the radiators, and the front end was radically redesigned.
