It was originally built in San Jose, CA, and sold new in Los Angles, where it remained with the original owner until 2014, when it was purchased by the second owner and brought to Arizona.
The car still has most of its original paint, with the exception of the left fender, door and quarter-panel, which received new paint in the '90s due to the car being keyed down that side.
After the car was purchased by the second owner, the car received a complete new powertrain to include a fully built 5.0-liter 8-cylinder roller engine with all-new forged internals, aluminum heads, aluminum intake, E303 cam, COMP roller rockers, Holley 1850 carburetor and an MSD distributor.
