The successor to the original WW2 Willys MB, the M38 introduced a number of upgrades while retaining the classic outline of its predecessor.
This early example retains the straight mudguards characteristic of the original, but it has also benefitted from having the ‘big light’ M38 front grille replaced with a 1942‑pattern item.
Combined with original‑style smaller headlights and sidelights, these changes give it a closer resemblance to the wartime Jeep.
