The Chevrolet Corvette is widely regarded as America’s first true sports car.

First unveiled in January 1953, it was the result of a collaboration between Harley Earl’s visionary Art & Colour Studio and Chevrolet’s engineering team.

From the outset, the Corvette captured imaginations with its sleek styling and performance that defined an era.

The example offered here belongs to the celebrated third generation, the C3, which ran from 1967 to 1982.

A silhouette synonymous with motorsport, on the custom scene, on-screen and with the 1970s.

This example is finished in Silver with the complementing attractive red leather.

First registered in the USA in 1976 and subsequently coming to the UK from New York State in 2017, ‘OBA 728P’ has been in the same ownership since import.

Originally leaving the factory in automatic gearbox guise, this example had previously been converted to a 4-speed manual gearbox some time before it came to the UK.
