This example is a rare right-hand-drive car, first registered in the UK in 1970 under the registration 'ELN 60J' that it still possesses today.

It is offered as a non-running project, although the vendor advises that they have previously had the engine running.

We have not attempted to start the car ourselves, due to the electrics currently being disconnected.

While the car requires extensive restoration throughout, the bodywork appears to be notably solid compared to many surviving examples, which would provide a sound foundation for refurbishment.

Given the model’s scarcity, especially in right-hand-drive form, this is an excellent opportunity for a collector or restorer to bring one of BMW’s most graceful classic coupes back to life.
