From horsepower to horse stable, this Triumph Roadster was found in a barn, and in need of restoration.

The Triumph Roadster was produced by Britain’s Motor Company from 1946 to 1949 and featured 2 models: the Triumph 1800 Roadster (from 1946 to 1948) and the Triumph 2000 Roadster (from 1948 to 1949).

The Triumph 2000 Roadster (TRA) featured the 2088cc Vanguard engine, transmission and rear axle.

With the larger engine, the 4-speed gearbox was replaced with a 3-speed unit and minor modifications to the mounting points, chassis, suspension and steering.

These changes resulted in a top speed of 77mph.

This model was never made in large numbers and was mainly hand built, in fact only 2000 of these models were made.

This example is the desirable larger engine model, but it needs restoration.
