WITHDRAWN UK Datsun 240z Super Samuri raced by Jack Phare First purchased in 1973,it was only 8 months later that Jack Phare took this 240z to Spike Anderson, the creator of Big Sam, and the Super Samuri,for its Samuri Conversion, into one of the first of only 6 Road-legal racers ever built by Spike.

It was converted by race head services, a full year before Win Percy and Big Sam's 1974 legendary modsports championship.

After its brief sprint career it was then sold on to a young, deep-saturation, diver who used his first pay packet to get it.

He drove it infrequently, as he was abroad working, often for months at a time, and eventually, after some fault with the brakes, in1985, it was garaged at his home in Edinburgh, with the view to repairing, and restoring it, at a future date.

Life often has other plans for us though, and it was left until sadly, he passed away.
