1961 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL with hardtop


According to its datenkarte, this 190 SL left the factory on the 18th of July 1961, in ‘Gris Blanc’ (ref.

158 G) with a parchment leather interior and a black top.

It was fitted with the optional third seat, positioned perpendicular to the road.

Registered on the 20th of July of the same year, it was owned by two German collectors between 1998 and 2010, when it was then acquired by Guido Hommel.

He was captivated by the quality of its bodywork and its superb interior, featuring patinated green leather with matching carpets.

A closer look at the car reveals a high-quality restoration carried out some time ago, with a paint finish in the traditional grey shade.
