This Jaguar E-Type Series 1 spent the early part of its life in the United States and in February 1987, while it was in Los Alamitos (California), it was sold to a collector who ran a bodywork restoration business based in Bonn and subsequently exported to Germany.

The car was in its original condition but in 2015, the latter embarked on a full restoration, carried out in part by the Oldtimer Restauration und Service workshop in Düren.

The bodywork and paintwork were restored, as well as mechanical components and the interior, including the seats which were reupholstered in Connolly leather.

The number stamped on the engine block matches the one on the chassis plate, suggesting that this is indeed its original 6-cylind...
