The first series of the 205 Roland Garros made its debut in May 1989, in hatchback form only, and following its success, a second limited series went into production in 1990, this time including 1,000 cabriolets.

This example is one such model, a rare car from the first series of cabriolets.

First registered on 9 July 1990, after being sold by the Peugeot dealer Botzaris in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, as its service book confirms, this elegant cabriolet was used sparingly, at first on the Côte d’Azur; the increase in its mileage can be seen from the bills and safety inspection records in its history file.
