The Alpine A610 could be summed up in three figures: 250 bhp, a top speed of 268 km/h and 818 cars built.

This car, one of those 818, was supplied new on 3 September by the Renault dealer in Blois, BWA, to a resident of the Sarthe, as the stamped-up service book and a copy of the previous registration document confirm.

Finished in scarlet red, it was kept by its first owner until August 1996, when it was bought by a major collector of Alpine cars, also from the Sarthe.

It was from this collector that its current owner, who had driven the A610 entered by Legeay Sports which made its mark in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1994, bought the car.

It has thus been cherished by connoisseurs throughout its life and is in exceptionally well preserved condition.
