French-made racing prototypes are certainly not a common sight, whether on the street or on the track.

Yet this is precisely what four engineers created in their workshop in Valence, in the Drôme region.

From 1968 onwards, their single-seaters performed brilliantly in the Coupe de France, which caught the eye of Maurice Trintignant who became their sponsor and to whom we owe the ‘MT’ model designation.

Proud of this success, the logical next step was to develop various categories of racing cars, including prototypes.

This particular MT14B was completely restored in the specialist workshops of the O-One tuning company.

Photos in the file clearly demonstrate the superb work carried out.

Nothing was left to chance and just five years ago, the entire car was rebuilt from the chassis up.
