This Porsche 911 S 2.2 Targa left the factory in 1970 and was registered in Rome on 9 January 1971; it then remained in Italy for more than 40 years before it was bought by its current owner in 2012 from Sportwagen-Service at Speisen-Elversberg in Germany.
It has had its Recaro seats and Fuchs wheels from new, and around 2004, its previous owner carried out a restoration of the engine and body, which was completely repainted.
Since it was bought, it has mainly been used to take part in regularity rallies in Germany (hence the timing equipment in the very well-preserved interior), and has been regularly maintained by the specialist Stentenbach Classics, at Grossmaischeid.
