539 - Ferrari Classiche certification - Superb condition, original engine - Maintained by Gardette (with supporting documents) - Sold new in France - No reserve This Ferrari 308 GTB is one of the rare and sought-after examples with fibreglass bodywork, which was a big first for a road car from Ferrari.

These models were from the start of production, from 1975–1977, and, according to some sources, only 808 such cars were built before the production costs prompted the company to switch to steel bodies, adding about 30kg to the weight of the car.

This 308 GTB in particular, a dry-sump version, is in unusually good condition for a model which has often aged badly.

Sold new in France by Charles Pozzi, it was finished in Argento Auteuil with a Nero interior; it was later restored by Philippe Gardette of Auvergne Moteurs, a specialist workshop with an excellent reputation, who maintained the car regularly and with evident care, as can be see...
