Launched by Honda in 1990, the NSX was a genuine supercar, a showcase for the company’s know-how which deployed all the latest technology.
Its rear mid-mounted 3.0-litre V6 engine developed 274bhp at 7300rpm, enabling it to go from 0-100kph in less than 6 seconds and reach a top of speed of 270kph.
Despite being good-looking, fast, reliable and comfortable, it had a modest career, especially in Europe, and cars equipped with the removable Targa top, like the model presented here, are even rarer.
This example is truly exceptional, as it was sold new in October 1998 by the Honda dealer in Vernier, in Switzerland, to the current owner’s father.
