A technological showcase for Porsche, the Carrera GT was first presented as a concept car at the Paris Motor Show in 2000, before being sold between 2003 and 2006.

This exceptional supercar, intended to compete with the Ferrari Enzo, Mercedes SLR and Ford GT, was outstanding in every way, starting with its performance: it could accelerate from 0–100kph in 3.9sec and from 0–200kph in 9.9sec, and boasted a top speed of 330kph.

In the series of supercars designed by Porsche, it was a successor to the 959, with a body that combined elegance, sportiness and aggression.
Its four headlamps under clear plastic covers, its side air intakes and streamlined shape all evoked models that had marked the company’s history in motorsport, like the 550 Spyder or the 917, while the double bubble roof extended over the engine cover and was directly inspired...
