Unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Fluence Z.E.

Concept Car reflected Renault’s desire to take a position in the market for electric vehicles.

It prefigured the production version that would be presented in 2011 at the Australian Motor Show and would be Renault’s first 100% electric production model.

The concept car was based on the ICE-powered Fluence, a four-door saloon developed with Samsung, who also sold it under its brand.

It was not the first time that Renault had used the Fluence name, as it had already been given to a prototype four-seat coupé presented at the 2004 Paris Motor Show.
The Fluence Z.E.
