From the 1930s onwards, the Primaquatre was a mainstay of Renault’s range.

It appeared in 1931 and combined the small body of the Monasix with the 2.2-litre four-cylinder engine from the KZ, giving it decent performance and a top speed of over 100kph.

It remained in the range until the Second World War and was regularly improved, especially in terms of its appearance.

From 1934, it had smoother lines and fuller, more rounded wings, then from 1936, a V-shaped grille and a larger boot at the rear.
Finished in black, this Primaquatre saloon, with a V-shaped grille and the extended boot with a curved lid, left the factory on 14 November 1936; its body appears to be sound.

Inside, various accessories are missing, but the upholstery, in blue leatherette with green piping, appears to have been retrimmed many years...
