A legend that was an inseparable part of the French automotive scene from the 1960s to the 1990s, Renault’s first front-wheel drive car, the Renault 4, introduced a rear tailgate, long-travel suspension and an excellent load capacity.

In 2021, to celebrate the model’s 60th anniversary, the manufacturer had five cars converted to electric power.
It chose versions symbolising the model, which were completely restored by the staff at the Collection before being sent to EV Europe, a Dutch specialist which carried out the conversion, replacing the petrol engine by an electric motor and installing the batteries.

The motor is directly connected to the gearbox, which is locked in third, with an electrical inverter providing reverse gear.
