In September 1960, eight months after the revolutionary Mini had made its resounding debut, Austin and Morris presented the estate versions aimed at ‘gentlemen farmers’, two gentrified new models with side windows and wooden frames.

First registered on 3 December 1968, this endearing little estate car is a Mark II version, with the 998cc engine.

Jean-Pierre Nylin bought it in 2001, when it was registered in Paris.

Evidently blue to begin with, it was the object of an older restoration, which will need to be redone: an exciting prospect for a distinctive vehicle which is appreciated as much by collectors as curious passers-by.


Buyers are informed that all vehicles in the collection have seen limited use in recent years, having been part of a museum display.
