With the ‘double-bubble’ roof characteristic of the second generation and its 8-litre V10, the GTS produced 450bhp: its blistering acceleration made it a latter-day Shelby Cobra.
First registered on 20 October 1997, this example had been registered in Paris since 2002 when Jean-Pierre Nylin bought it an auction held by Artcurial in 2008.
A file of invoices testifies to the service work carried out during the 2000s: in 2005, a new differential was fitted and the ECU reprogrammed by Powerships, while in 2012 the running gear was overhauled.
