In 1968, the production of the Mini Moke was transferred to Australia.

It was first distributed under the Morris Mini Moke name, then Leyland Moke in 1973.

Later in 1977, a new “Californian” series was introduced to refresh the model’s image.

As evidenced by its original invoice, this particular example was purchased new by its current owner from British Motors in Monte Carlo on the 13th July 1981.

Originally white, this Moke was regularly used and serviced, as evidenced by a substantial servicing file.
