In 1978, Aston Martin launched the brand’s new convertible model, the V8 Volante.

Succeeding the DB6, it had a similar design to the DBS.

Following a production of 656 examples, the Series 2 was introduced in 1986 and alongside it, some improvements and modifications.

The Series 2 remained in production until 1989 and reportedly, only 216 examples were manufactured.
This particular example was sold new in Germany by the Mertz & Pabst in Stuttgart, as evidenced by the plate affixed around the front wing.

Registered on the 13th May 1987, this is the most sought-after version: left-hand drive with a manual gearbox which enables you to fully enjoy the powerful injection of this V8 engine.
