This Lamborghini Countach LP 400 S ‘low-body’ Series 2 model (built before the roof was raised on the versions that followed) left the factory on 20 March 1981; it was red with a black leather interior.

Sold new in Italy through Emilian Auto Bologna, it is possible that it then went to the United States, as it is equipped with the reflectors normally fitted to cars sold there.
In 1999, after it had been owned by a French enthusiast for a time, it was bought by its current owner as a treat for his 50th birthday! Since then, its excellent original condition has required only a new coat of paint in its original red.
