Embiricos, a member of one of Greece's most powerful ship-owning families, whose name is also known within the motoring world on account of the famous Bentley 'Embiricos' with its extraordinary aerodynamic bodywork by Paulin.
Also a major art collector, George Embiricos sold one of the five versions of Paul Cézanne's 'Card Players' to the royal family of Qatar for nearly €200 million.
The splendid Continental S3 we are presenting was delivered to him in March 1964 at his home in Lausanne, Switzerland.
