This Mercedes 220 SE cabriolet had belonged to a private owner living in Isère since 2004 when our collector bought it; keen to add a four-seater convertible to his collection.
Prior to its purchase, this car had undergone a great deal of work.
The file includes some maintenance invoices covering this period, in particular from Mercedes, and since then the current owner's mechanic carried out a mechanical service in 2023, including a fluid and oil filter change.
In 2022, Garage Sofi, an Isère-based bodywork specialist specialising in classic cars, carried out a complete paintwork overhaul (cost: €6,000). The front and rear bumpers have been replaced with new stainless steel components and the car is presently in satisfactory condition, in its beautiful metallic silver colour.
