En effet, elle a été préparée avec soin au début des années 2000 afin de pouvoir courir en GT1 dans le Championnat V de V alors très en vogue qui correspondait à l'homologation GT2-003 de la FIA.
Ainsi, après plusieurs années de préparation cette 993 obtint en 2007 son Passeport technique FFSA d'homologation.
Elle courut avec succès en 2008 et 2009 pilotée par P.
Milesi.
Ce dernier a ensuite participé aux 24h du Mans 2013 en GT avec une Porsche RSR en GT-AM.
La voiture fut vendue à un amateur d'Alsace en 2012.
