1976 Fiat 131 Abarth Rally Carte grise française Châssis n° 131AR*2041842 - Modèle rare et historique - Un des 4 exemplaires vendus neufs en France - Voiture toujours conservée par des passionnés - Conduite par Jean-Claude Andruet à l'époque ! Pour pouvoir homologuer sa 131 Abarth en Groupe 4 et remplacer la vieillissante 124 Abarth, Fiat doit produire une version route, commercialisable, produite à quelques centaines d'exemplaires.
Présentée au Salon de Genève 1976, la 131 Abarth Rally reçoit le même moteur que la version compétition, mais "civilisé" : ce quatre cylindres 2 litres 16 soupapes développe tout de même 140 ch, ce qui permet à cette voiture de moins d'une tonne des performances enviables ! Parmi les autres modifications par rapport à la version tourisme, la 131 Abarth reçoit des éléments de carrosserie en plastique, une suspension modifiée avec des roues arrière indépendantes, des jantes spéciales, un aménagement intérieur sportif.
